Two Oil Pipeline Breaches, Underground Piping, and Camouflaged Tankers: National Security Service Dismantles Crude Oil Theft and Smuggling Network in Al-Muthanna As part of its efforts to protect public funds and the nation's oil wealth, and to counter smuggling operations that drain state resources and the national economy, the Iraqi National Security Service (INSS) dismantled a criminal network specialized in the theft and smuggling of crude oil via one of the strategic oil pipelines in Al-Muthanna Governorate.
