Nobel Prize in Physics awarded to Francis Halzen for ice research

Scientist Francis Halzen won the 2026 Nobel Prize in Physics for work on subatomic particles at the South Pole, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in Stockholm announced on Tuesday.
